From inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation and workforce wellness to end-of-life care, Valir ensures that patients are treated in the right place, at the right time, with the right care.

Valir Physical Therapy recipient of the Reader’s Choice Award, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for best Physical Therapy. Valir Rehabilitation Hospital is the only facility in Oklahoma with a Parkinson’s Proficient Accreditation from the Parkinson’s Foundation of the Heartland.

Company History
Valir Health was formed in 2000
4 very entrepreneurial principals combined their companies and efforts to provide stronger long term care therapy services.
Their vision was clear:
Deliver high-quality patient care
Establish a higher standard
With this merger of companies, Valir began establishing ourselves as a “THE” comprehensive healthcare company for Rehabilitation Care.

Parkinson’s Proficient Accreditation
Valir Rehabilitation Hospital is the only facility in Oklahoma with a Parkinson’s Proficient Accreditation from the Parkinson’s Foundation of the Heartland. This accreditation means that facility staff has extensive training in the disease, healing process, and treatment strategies.
Joint Commission Accreditation
Valir Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, which aims "to continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value."
OKEthics Compass Award
The Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium recognized Valir Health in 2006 for promoting integrity in the workplace and awarded the company the first-ever OkEthics Compass Award for mid-sized businesses.
Metro 50
Valir Health was named one of the Oklahoma City Metro's 50 fastest growing companies for the fifth consecutive year in 2007.
Inc. 500
Inc. Magazine recognized Valir Health as one of the nation's fastest growing companies in 2007, ranking it 57th in the healthcare category and 971st overall. Valir was the only Oklahoma healthcare company to receive this honor. In 2008, Inc. Magazine ranked Valir Health as second in Oklahoma and 168th nationally in healthcare. In continuing recognition of Valir's growth, the magazine again chose Valir for the Inc. 5000 award in 2009 and 2010.
Readers Choice Award
NewsOK and The Oklahoman host The Oklahoman's Readers' Choice Awards, which allows the community to select their personal favorites in each of 84 categories under five major topics – the process starts with nominations from the community, then narrowed to top 5, top 3, then the winner. Valir Physical Therapy receives Reader’s Choice Award, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

At the end of the day on Friday, Oh came and asked for a Valir Health packet. He had an old version that I updated. It was made in an hour, it could definitely be improved and expanded, but it’s a starting point. It’s attached, if you have any use for it.

Valir has placed in the Top Oklahoma Workplace large employment sector in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Valir has paced in the top 15 employers with more than 350 employees the last 3 years consecutively finishing in 7th place in 2015.

Gold Star
Valir received Gold Star Recognition in 2015, the highest standard in workplace tobacco prevention, from the national nonprofit, Prevention Partners. We joined a select number of employers who have worked to build employee policies and programs for tobacco-free policies and cessation, and an overall culture where health and wellness are valued and supported.
